In an effort to maintain efficient service while respecting the privacy of AAC website visitors, AAC has created and posted the following privacy policy.

This privacy policy applies to AAC website(s) in terms of the collection, use, sharing and protection of your data. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications or services. Before using our services, please review this privacy policy and those of the third parities we utilize for those services.

All rights reserved. No part of this website or any publications and/or images posted to this website may be reproduced or used in any form or by any means — graphic, electronic, or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, taping, or information storage and retrieval systems — without written permission from the Aluminum Anodizers Council (AAC).

Information Collection and Use
We will collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us, including your contact and company name, address, telephone number, industry classification, and email address. AAC may use and store such information in order to notify you of official AAC business, provide a product or service you requested, secure your business relationship, evaluate needs and interests, and alert you of AAC news, activities, services, and benefits. We create a personal profile with this information that you can edit at any time to add, change or remove your data. We do not sell your personal information to anyone and only share personal information with third-party providers in order to complete a specific business transaction on behalf of AAC. Contact information from inquiries received by AAC may be shared with AAC employees or Council leadership to provide a service, satisfy an inquiry, or develop a prospective business relationship.

As a member or non-member, when you provide personal information to register for AAC events, the AAC will use that data to provide you with information related to the event, future events, news and services that may be of interest to you.

Information collected when becoming a member, registering for an event or purchasing an item in the online store, is stored in a database hosted by a third party, YourMembership (“YM”), based in the United States. YM does not use or access your personal information for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.

YM provides a Member Directory/Member Search feature on the website that allows members to share their information. Members can opt-in or opt-out of sharing their information by updating their profile or contacting the AAC via the information at the end of the policy.

By attending and/or participating in AAC events, you grant the AAC rights to capture your image and likeness on video, photograph, or audio for promotional and marketing purposes. You may, at any time, request for AAC to remove your image and likeness by contacting the AAC. If requested and if possible, we will remove your photo or video within a reasonable amount of time.

We may retain any email, direct mail, or other correspondence sent to us regarding questions, complaints or providing services.
