: : Hello,
: : We are developing a solar collector which has a frame of 6063 T5 extruded aluminum. The frame is black anodized and will be riveted. What specifications should we give the extrusion supplier to ensure the frame will be highly durable with exposure to the elements?

: : Thank you,

: The only choice is Electrolytically dyed coating previously known as duronodic. The anodic film is tinted black instead of an organic dye filling the pores. Its the only black that will hold up for the life of the coating.

Hi

You have to specify the thickness to 20 micron too, and the most flexible specification for the coloring is electrolytic coloring black.

Sunny regards
Anne
