I'm very new to the aluminum extrusion world. Because of that, I have lots of ideas and few answers. I have an application where I would like to partially embed an extruded 6105-T5 piece. The life-span on this needs to be 50+years. Will that alloy be ok with no anodizing? Would it be ok if I anodized it? It will be in contact with soil, moisture, and air.
