Hi everyone,
A small question:
The company where I work uses drawn aluminium barrels which we give to a specialist for anodising. Unfortunately, about 10% of the anodised barrels come with tiny white marks (probably flaking). The anodiser claims that the material is faulty. However, the marks are always on a straight line parallel to the long axis of the barrel and they are always on the same side. The material is 5019 H18.
Could someone tell me if the anodiser is right or wrong?
