Paint quality+ A/Q welding

Hi

I need to have a thickness of 0.16 A/Q in which one side alone need to be anodised. To achieve this. is it okay to weld 0.08 A/Q+ 0.08 Paint quality mtl.
Will there be any problem while anodising?
