We received some small military components back from black anodize, (hardcoat). We then then single point thread an area and clear coat. Prior to clear coat we have noticed that the finish on approximately 75% of the components have a very faint line, bot seen with the naked eye. The lines also have tiny little dots. Our customer is concerned that the protective attributes are
compromised. Do you think this is true? Without seeing pictures have you heard of this before? What do you feel is causing this finish? The material is 6061 T6 aluminum.
Are the inpurites of the raw material bleeding through?
