I suppose you use Tin-based electrolyte:

Be sure effiecient rinsing after anodizing done (at least two rinses necessary)

Then;

1) Check electrocoloring bath temperature..Max tremp þlimit: 24 deg.C.

2) H2SO4 and tin-sulphide concentartions OK
(limit for H2SO4 concentration: 20 gpl max!.)

3) Tka ethe load out of the electrocolor tank as soon as the process electric current is OFF.

4) Don't leave the load in the first rinsing tank (too acidfic!..) more than 1 minute

5) Clean the stainless steel electrodes in nitric acid and then mechanical polishing if necessary.

Hope this would help...

: Im having to much trouble anodizing electrocolor. The problem is that i cannot take the black tone (or 400) i just can reach a brown tone. Ill already check the voltage, the concentrations of the chemical solutions and the number of m2 taht i can anodize to reach the adecuate microns (12-15)

: so... ¿what is happen??
