We are having problems with aluminium alloy Gr 6082-T6 machined parts when hard anodised, clear, 25 microns maximum, with hot water seal to BS 5599.
The problems are colour variation and in some cases an appearance of a white 'chalky' coating.
Also when we had them stripped and re-coated the process appears to have reduced the diameters considerably.
Please advise opinions on the colour variation, the chalky coating and the loss of diameter.
