I am a custom home contractor researching for a product and/or metal finish to utilize on this particular project. This is a very high end home that is going to feature a commercial style metal panel siding system. I do have a picture to better clarify what we’re trying to do if someone is interested. The client wants to achieve a mottled copper look with this siding yet not actually use copper. They want to achieve the look of copper after app. 3-4 years of weathering and patina and don’t want to use copper because they don’t want the patina to get to a point that it turns its final green color. Which, to my understanding, can’t be stopped. The clients wants the natural mottled look of 3-4 your old copper without using copper. If possible. Trying to locate a company that can produce this type of finish on another metal, or other material, has proved to be a daunting task. My gut tells me some company, or process exists, that can produce this look on another metal or material besides copper. Any input would be appreciated
