Linetec opened a third anodize line for architectural aluminum products at its facility in Wausau, Wisconsin, a 180,000-square-foot addition designed to expand the facility’s capacity by more than 50 percent. The company says the fully automated third line provides additional anodize capacity, benefitting customers with short lead times. Linetec’s process is engineered to reduce waste by as much as 80 percent, decrease energy use, create recyclable byproducts and enhance the durability and lifecycle of the finished product. Linetec’s Wausau, Wisconsin, campus now spans more than 750,000 square feet with room to enhance production flow throughout the facilities.
