New AAC Anodizing Quality Workshop—Two Upcoming Dates for Fall 2010
The advanced-level class moves beyond the anodizing basics to address quality and process issues commonly faced by anodizers. The first half of the workshop will consist of overviews of substrate manufacturing processes and metal finishing, followed by recognizing and troubleshooting anomalies that may manifest through the processes discussed. The second half of the workshop will consist of a series of interactive “Troubleshooting Stations” where process experts will host small groups to discuss various individual problems, building on the principles presented in the first half of the workshop. Due to the partnership with the AEC Extrusion Symposium in Chicago in September, the half-day AAC Anodizing Quality Workshop will focus on extrusion alloys. Program topics will include:
